Description
Fine Petals New Zealand Sphagnum moss is a wonderful media that is much finer in texture than traditional New Zealand Sphagnum. More coarse than Milled Sphagnum which come from Canada, this is the same beautiful golden color as our other New Zealand Sphagnum moss, and is a blend of Cristatum and Subnitens petals from long fiber AAA New Zealand Sphagnum moss. Capable of great water holding capacity, this ‘Chopped Sphagnum’ is a new offering from rePotme and can be used in a wide variety of applications.
These include cultivation of various orchid species, assisting with young plant growth, as an additive to increase water holding capacity in mixes, for carnivorous plant growing, as a decorative enhancement, and generally by florists.
All of our New Zealand mosses are harvested from carefully managed, sustainable bogs.
