Description
SEMPERVIVUM ‘Coral Red’ Colorockz®. 4″ tall, 6″ spread, full sun. Evergreen. Unique red foliage contrasts dramatically with the typical greens and pinks of other Hen and Chicks. Leaves turn from muted red to bright red leaves with cool winter temperatures. Has a very strong root system and branches well. Surround it with white stones for a modern twist. Drought and heat tolerant. Deer and rabbit resistant. Zones 4-9. Potted in 3″ pot.
Sempervivum is the perfect plant for hot, dry, sunny locations with very well-drained soil. Though they can adapt to a variety of soil types, they perform best in gritty soil. If a groundcover effect is desired, space plants close together because they grow slowly.
