Description
PHLOX d. ‘Blue Moon’. 9-12″ tall with equal spread, part-full shade, mid-late spring bloom. Loose clusters of fragrant blue-violet flowers adorn the medium green foliage. This is a perfect addition to a woodland garden. Drought tolerant. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer resistant. Zones 3-8. Potted in 3″ pot.
Phlox divaricata are mildly fragrant, carefree natives for part shade. Prefers a moist soil. Trim back after flowering to the low green foliage for lush new growth. Do not prune in fall, may need minimal clean-up in spring to tidy its appearance. Can be divided every 3 to 5 years in spring right after flowering or early fall.
