Description
SEMPERVIVUM ‘Silverine’. 3-4″ tall, 6-8″ spread, full sun, midsummer bloom. Evergreen. Forms rosettes of sharply pointed, silvery green leaves which are flushed with reddish-purple at the base. In Winter, leaves become more purple and red. This color may vary from season to season. Unique deep pink flowers are held aloft on short, leafy stalks in midsummer. Deer and rabbit resistant. Zones 3-8. Potted in 3″ pot.
Sempervivum is ideal for hot, dry, sunny spots with excellent drainage. While adaptable to many soil types, it thrives in gritty, well-drained soil. For a fuller, groundcover look, plant them close together, as they are slow growers.
