Description
SEMPERVIVUM ‘Ruby Heart’. 3-4″ tall, 6-8″ spread, full sun. Silvery blue to blue-green pointed leaves are flushed rosy red at the base. In midsummer, unique pinkish purple flowers are held on short, leafy stalks. Drought and heat tolerant. Deer and rabbit resistant. Zones 3-8. Potted in 3″ pot. Sempervivum is ideal for hot, dry, sunny spots with excellent drainage. While adaptable to many soil types, it thrives in gritty, well-drained soil. For a fuller, groundcover look, plant them close together, as they are slow growers.
