Description
Dwarf. 6″ tall, 12″ spread, part-full shade, purple flowers. This mini hosta has small, round, green leaves with creamy white margins jetting towards the midrib. Attracts hummingbirds. Zones 3-9. Potted in 3″ pot. Hosta thrive in moist, well-drained, organically rich soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5. Sandy loam is ideal, offering better root aeration than heavy clay. For the healthiest growth, plant hostas in high-filtered or dappled light—they tolerate morning sun, which can enhance leaf color, but hot afternoon sun can scorch or kill them. These shade-loving perennials are perfectly suited for woodland gardens and work beautifully as specimens or border plants.
