Description
PP33296. Medium. 12″ tall, 40″ spread, part-full shade, pale lavender flowers. Green, heart-shaped leaves have wide yellow margins. Over the course of the summer, the margins will turn creamy white. The slightly rippled margins will draw attention to its beautiful variegation. Attracts hummingbirds. Zones 3-9. Potted in 3″ pot. Hosta thrive in moist, well-drained, organically rich soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5. Sandy loam is ideal, offering better root aeration than heavy clay. For the healthiest growth, plant hostas in high-filtered or dappled light—they tolerate morning sun, which can enhance leaf color, but hot afternoon sun can scorch or kill them. These shade-loving perennials are perfectly suited for woodland gardens and work beautifully as specimens or border plants.
